For the year 2012 competition will be held at the Polytechnic of Milan in March, As in previous years. It is mainly divided into two days and two modes judged separately by a special jury: Team Design and Case Study.
The 17will take the test Team Design. Participants will have solve a technical problemin a limited time erealizzare a prototype that performs the task assigned by observing the use of specific materials and tools supplied.
The21will conclude the competition EBEC Milan through the testCase Study,where students, through amore theoretical approach, willsolve a business type; Winners will be the participants can find the most innovative and effective. Sponsors for the category Case Studies and supporters of the winning team and the national final is the company Tenaris Dalmine.
I themes competitions are chosen with the intention of making the necessary skills and different fields of knowledge,so that students with different skills to be able to contribute to the project equally.
The jury will be composed of representatives of the faculty of the University, Business Partners and members of BEST.
The Past Editions
The BEST Group Milan is now in its fifth edition eBEC of Milan, with great success of participants each year. Indeed there are 25 teams (100 Participants) Each year the competition and enjoys great popularity at the university.
Among the various sponsor who have participated, are mentioned in particular for the competition engineering Brembo and Redbull.
How and when to enroll
Before you register for the event, all team members must register at the site of BEST International. Then you can sign up to the event through the list of local events, by reference to EBEC Milan 2012.
E’ requires that all students are part of the team record and carry out the event registration, specifying the same name for the team.
To reach the national, the team must participate in both competitions!
After registration you must leave a deposit of 10 euros per participant will be fully repaid at the end of event!
After you have signed up to write firstname.lastname@example.org, saying what team you are and leave the deposit!
The registration deadline is the 15 March per Team Design, il16 March for Case Study. The number of places available is limited for logistical, hurry up! Students in both events will have priority over those enrolled in only one of them.
